Geza’s practice focuses on intellectual property protection, namely patent preparation, prosecution and enforcement in the United States and internationally.  He counsels on developing intellectual property protection strategies, including patentability, freedom to operate and infringement opinions.

With over 20 years of patent experience, Geza has successfully secured patent protection on behalf of individual inventors, start-ups, small and medium business, as well as large multinational companies.  He has drafted and prosecuted numerous utility and design patent applications in technical fields such as computer hardware and software, telecommunications, mobile phones, consumer appliances, computer games, computer implemented inventions, lighting, healthcare and medical devices, oral appliances, cosmetic devices, power generation systems, aircraft systems and alternative energy devices.  Members of his extended team have experience in the mechanical, chemical and biotech arts.

Geza is also experienced in post grant proceedings and successfully filed patent reexamination proceedings which eventually led to the dismissal of related patent litigations.  He is a registered patent attorney as well as a member of the American Intellectual Property Association, the Connecticut Intellectual Property Law Association and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property.
